ScienceDirect

Long Island University now has ScienceDirect. This means you can access Elsevier journals online including these journals in the LIS collection: Information Processing and Management, Interacting with Computers, International Information and Library Review, International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, Journal of Academic Librarianship, Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association, Library Collections, Acquisitions, & Technical Services, Library and Information Science Research, and Serials Review. Direct links are set up on the LIS electronic journals webpage. As of 2008, at the University all Elsevier journals will only be available electronically through ScienceDirect and will no longer be subscribed to in print.
